Proposal Grant Officer (GO)

• When a college administrator or Principal / Investigator submits a proposal into workflow, the Preferred Grant Officer will receive an email notification

• Log into ePAWs and choose the role “Grant Officer”

• Similar to eCLAWs, you will see widgets for “My Pool” and “My Queue”

  • Because ePAWs has Preferred Grant Officers built, records will be visible in “My Queue” without the GO having to “Assign to me”
  • For departments where a Preferred GO is not assigned, Associate Director for Proposal GOs will have records assigned to them, and will triage/assign as is appropriate

• Select the record for review in “My Queue” by selecting the record ID link; to take a record from another GO, assign to yourself by selecting the 3 action dots and “Assign to me”

• Similar to eCLAWs, you will see a summary page, and a link to review the data via the proposal wizard; select the link and review the record via 4 distinct tabs…

General Information

• Review the General Information and make any appropriate adjustments
• Select “Verify Award Mechanism Details”

• Specify Activity Type, Submission (Proposal) type, anticipated Award Type, CFDA number (if applicable)

Budget

• Review the Proposal Project Personnel, Total Costs (DC+IDC=Total), Cost Share, F&A Under-Recovery, Project Cost Summary, and Affiliations
  • Make adjustments to the individual Proposal Project Personnel by selecting the three action dots in the table

Compliance/Regulatory
