Certifying Proposals in ePAWs 2.0 starts with logging into the application, selecting the Principal / Investigator role, and reviewing the “Records need my attention” widget on “My Dashboard.”
Principal / Investigators will receive an email notification alerting them to a proposal awaiting their certification:
- Log into the application; Once logged into ePAWs, select the Principal / Investigator role from the drop down in the upper right corner of the application
- Select “My Dashboard” from the Top Menu, and review the “Records need my attention” widget on “My Dashboard.”
- For items awaiting Investigator Certification, select the record link to open the proposal
- Review the elements of the proposal, at a high level from the left frame, or at a detailed level by selecting “Review Data via Proposal Wizard” link
- To return the proposal to a previous stop for review/correction, select “Return to stop” on the “General Information” page
- Select the stop to which you want to return the record, enter an optional comment, and select “Return”
- To certify the proposal, select “Certify”
- Review the certification language, enter an optional comment, and select “Certify;” once selected, your certification is complete.
