ePAWs 2.0 provides an option for ad-hoc reporting, using basic or advance search fields.

• From the top menu, select “My Reports” and “Generate Ad-hoc Reports”

• The Basic Search allows for quick searches by limited fields; select your search parameters and “Search”

• The Advanced Search allows for more refined search with additional filters; select your search parameters and “Search”
• Some search fields are “smart” search; as you enter information, ePAWs will present matches based on your search criteria
• Multiple criteria can be searched for refinement of results
• Expandable sections can be used for searching for additional details by Funding Agency, Participants, etc.

• Once your search is complete, the result appears in the window
• Record numbers indicate the workflow location of the record:
  • P- is a Proposal
  • AP- is an Award in process
  • A- is an active Award
• Columns can be re-sorted by selecting the column names
• To see record details, select the ePAWs ID link to view the record
• Users can download the search result in Excel format; select the “Download as xlsx” button to download the search result

• If you repeat the same searches regularly, you can save search parameters for reuse
• Once saved, select/run the search result from the “Select Saved Filters” dropdown
• To update a saved filter, select “Manage Saved Filters” and update your search parameters
